CRDC принял участие в Общем собрании Платформы за гендерное равенство

The Executive Director of the Public Association Regional Center for Community Development, Bejan Irina, participated in the General Assembly of the Gender Equality Platform (PEG), a meeting dedicated to assessing the Platform’s activity and setting its directions for the coming period.

The meeting represented an important organizational review, during which the activity report and the results of the external evaluation were presented, while the priorities and internal mechanisms needed to strengthen the Platform’s functioning were also discussed.

Decisions to strengthen PEG’s activity

The agenda of the General Assembly included several important decisions for the Platform’s development, including the election of the new Board, the update of the internal regulations, and the granting of a mandate to improve internal policies and procedures.

These processes are important for ensuring clear, transparent and effective governance and for strengthening the Platform’s capacity to respond consistently to the common objectives undertaken by its member organizations.

CRDC’s participation in PEG gives the organization the opportunity to contribute to national discussions and initiatives on gender equality, while also bringing into these processes the experience and perspectives accumulated through its work with women, young women and communities in southern Moldova.

At the same time, membership in the Platform helps connect local and regional work with initiatives, resources and practices developed at national level.

We congratulate the new Board of the Gender Equality Platform and wish its members success in carrying out their mandate.

CRDC will continue to actively participate in the Platform’s processes and contribute to the promotion of gender equality, participation and more inclusive policies together with member organizations from across the country.
