CRDC initiates collaboration with the General Education Directorate of Cahul to strengthen non-formal education

The Regional Community Development Center (CRDC) announces the initiation of a collaboration with the General Education Directorate of Cahul, a partnership aimed at expanding and strengthening non-formal education activities in educational institutions across the municipality and district of Cahul.

This collaboration seeks to establish a common framework for the development and implementation of educational initiatives that complement the formal education system, tailored to the current needs of children, young people, and teaching staff.

Within this partnership, CRDC and the General Education Directorate of Cahul will work together to organize workshops, programs, and educational activities focused on developing key competencies necessary for personal, social, and civic life. These include:

  • fostering critical thinking and analytical skills;

  • promoting leadership and active youth engagement;

  • encouraging civic participation and social responsibility;

  • enhancing online safety and responsible digital use;

  • preventing violence and promoting respectful relationships.

The activities will involve both children and young people, as well as teachers, contributing to a participatory and inclusive educational approach.

Initiatives developed through this collaboration will be implemented within educational institutions and at the community level, with the aim of bringing non-formal education closer to students’ real needs.

Through this partnership, CRDC reaffirms its mission to support education rooted in values, civic engagement, and personal development, contributing to the formation of active, informed, and responsible young people.
