The experience of writing an article is a challenge that makes you reflect from the very beginning. Choosing the right topic is not always easy, and finding the proper angle requires time and thought. Once you start writing, the ideas begin to take shape, and the process becomes increasingly engaging. As you express your thoughts, you strive to deliver a clear and meaningful message. However, beyond the satisfaction of completing the article, there is also the emotion of awaiting feedback – a mix of anticipation and curiosity.

I noticed a genuine transformation in our community dynamics. Young people bring energy, ideas, and a willingness to take responsibility, and their collaboration with the authorities leads to real and sustainable change.

The YELI project motivated students to become more active, and the creation of a youth space is one of its clear outcomes. Young people who get involved today grow into responsible adults tomorrow. They learn to collaborate, create useful things, and take care of shared spaces.

During the program, I learned a lot about journalism and how to identify and counter disinformation. With the help of experienced journalists, I learned to write articles in which we analyzed citizens’ opinions on fake news and other relevant topics. This hands-on experience helped me understand how important it is to verify sources and, as a journalist, to present facts accurately and without distortion. I’m grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to develop my article-writing skills, and to the experts for their support and practical guidance!

I was glad to witness the transformation of the young people in our village. I believe their involvement is key to the sustainable development of the community, and the YELI project provided the necessary space for them to express themselves, organize, and actively contribute. When young people are heard and supported, they become drivers of sustainable community growth.

The project gave me the opportunity to fight against corruption – a phenomenon we are all too often confronted with today. Throughout our activities, I learned how corruption manifests and how we can take action to combat it. In addition to the valuable lessons, I met wonderful people and had the chance to build meaningful relationships.

I learned how to plan and organize events. I gained the confidence to propose concrete initiatives, such as setting up a relaxation area near the stadium. I wholeheartedly recommend it! It’s an experience that helps you grow, motivates you, and gives you the courage to believe that you can truly make a difference.

The most valuable lesson for me was understanding the importance of collaboration and effective communication within a team. I wholeheartedly recommend getting involved in this project—it's a great opportunity to learn new things, make friends, and contribute something meaningful to your community.

It was a great honor and pleasure for me to participate in this program, as I learned many new things about cybersecurity in the online environment, how to deal with online abuse, echo chambers, trolls, bots, deepfakes, social media insights, and the technologies used for propaganda purposes, among others. Being part of such a warm and amazing team left me with a very positive impression, and I’m really looking forward to attending more programs or activities organized by A.O. C.R.D.C.

Participating in the project changed the way I viewed civic engagement, and looking ahead, I want to remain active. I plan to collaborate with local NGOs and organize a volunteer club at my high school to share what I’ve learned with my peers.

This project showed me that my voice truly matters. I realized that even if my contribution seems small, if I am genuinely involved, I can create real change around me.

The most valuable lesson for me was learning to work in a team and find common ground with different people. Thanks to the project, I helped initiate the youth space in the village. I would recommend it to everyone—it helps you discover yourself, gain useful skills, and find inspiration for real action.
