CRDC Nominated at the Civil Society Gala in the “Promotion of Gender Equality” Category

Sometimes, one of the most meaningful forms of recognition is when the work carried out every day in communities is seen, appreciated and placed alongside the contributions of other organizations working for positive change in the Republic of Moldova.

This year, A.O. Centrul Regional de Dezvoltare Comunitară was nominated in the “Promotion of Gender Equality” category at the Civil Society Gala, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova.

For us, this nomination is, first and foremost, an honour. We are both pleased and encouraged by the fact that our work has been recognized by an institution that, over the years, has invested significantly in the development of civil society, the strengthening of communities and, more broadly, the development of the Republic of Moldova.

We see this recognition as a confirmation of the work carried out alongside women, young women, refugees, migrants and local communities, as well as an encouragement to continue contributing to the creation of safer, more inclusive and more equitable spaces.

For CRDC, promoting gender equality is not limited to individual activities. It means creating environments in which women and young women have a voice, access to opportunities, confidence and genuine space for participation. It means working directly in communities, listening, connecting people and turning principles into concrete actions.

We are pleased to be part of a civil society community that brings European values closer to people through solidarity, engagement, courage and everyday work.
