CRDC once again stands alongside children on International Children’s Day
This year as well, the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC), in partnership with the Community Center Cahul, stood alongside children on International Children’s Day, marking the occasion through a community initiative dedicated to joy, play, and every child’s right to freely express themselves.
The activity took place outdoors and created a friendly and safe space, where children enjoyed interactive games, recreational activities, and moments of social connection. Through colour, smiles, and positive energy, the event highlighted the true essence of childhood — the freedom to explore, to play, and to be heard.
Beyond its festive character, the event also carried an important message: children’s rights matter and must be promoted continuously, not only through information, but also by creating environments in which children feel accepted, protected, and encouraged. Play, friendship, and open interaction became natural and meaningful ways to celebrate childhood.
We extend our thanks to everyone who joined us and helped turn this day into a beautiful memory for children and their families. We firmly believe that a healthy community begins with respect for children’s rights and with sustained investment in their emotional and social well-being.
For CRDC and the Community Center Cahul, International Children’s Day remains an opportunity to reaffirm a core commitment: childhood deserves to be celebrated with an open heart — every year, every day.
