“Narrative” Exhibition at the “B.P. Hasdeu” State University in Cahul

On October 8, 2025, the traveling photo and illustration exhibition “Narrative” was opened in the lobby of the “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” State University in Cahul. The exhibition is dedicated to human rights and resilience to disinformation and will remain open to the public until October 29.

The event was organized in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chișinău, the Center for Independent Journalism (CJI), Piko Creative, and the “B.P. Hasdeu” State University in Cahul. The Cahul launch included a discussion on the phenomenon of disinformation and building resilience through civic activism, with contributions from Vasile Micleușanu, Valeria Batereanu, Mihaela Racovița, and Arina Arabadji. In one of the panels, our colleague Arina delivered a presentation on the role of media education and civic engagement in local communities, highlighting the importance of collaboration among academia, civil society, and public authorities.

Throughout the exhibition period, “Narrative” offers visitors the opportunity to visually explore current topics, understand the mechanisms of disinformation, and identify civic and educational solutions applicable at the local level. The exhibition thus contributes to CRDC’s mission to promote media education, youth participation, and community dialogue.

For details on visiting hours (lobby, 2nd floor) and related activities, please refer to the announcements of the “B.P. Hasdeu” State University in Cahul and communications from the partners.
