Redirect 2% to Support the Sterilization of Stray Dogs in Cahul
The issue of stray dogs in the municipality of Cahul remains a real concern, affecting both public safety and animal welfare. Temporary solutions do not address the root cause of the problem. Sterilization is widely recognized as the most humane and effective long-term method for reducing the number of stray dogs.
In this context, CRDC invites citizens to support this initiative by redirecting 2% of their income tax.
What does redirecting 2% mean?
Redirecting 2% is not an additional donation and does not involve any extra cost for the taxpayer.
If you are officially employed in the Republic of Moldova, you already pay income tax. According to the law, you have the right to redirect 2% of that tax to an eligible non-commercial organization.
It is important to understand:
-
You do not pay anything extra.
-
You do not donate additional personal funds.
-
You simply decide where part of your already paid tax will go.
-
If you do not redirect it, the full amount remains in the state budget.
For example, if your annual income tax amounts to 10,000 MDL, you can redirect 200 MDL to support this cause at no additional cost.
