Exchange of Good Practices Among CSOs: Perspectives from Armenia and CRDC’s Experience in Preventing GBV

Exchange of Good Practices Among CSOs: Perspectives from Armenia and CRDC’s Experience in Preventing GBV

Experience sharing remains one of the most valuable tools through which civil society organizations can strengthen their capacities, discover effective practices, and generate new ideas for the communities they serve. In this spirit, this week our colleague Arina Arabadji participated in an event organized by GIZ Moldova and the CONTACT Center, alongside more than 25 organizations from across the country.

During the meeting, we presented insights and best practices gained during the study visit to Armenia, carried out within the EU4Youth Regional Youth Exchange program. This experience provided new perspectives on youth engagement, community strengthening, and the development of regional initiatives. You can learn more about the Armenia visit here.

As the event took place during the global “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign, it also offered the opportunity to present the experience of the Regional Community Development Center in preventing gender-based violence. We spoke about the resources we provide to women and girls in the Cahul region and presented our informational guide, developed to support victims in risk situations and to facilitate access to assistance.

Participation in such events helps us build connections, learn from one another, and develop stronger projects for the communities we work with. We are grateful for platforms that allow us to share good practices and grow together.

We thank GIZ Moldova for the opportunities provided and for their continuous support to civil society.
