Good Deeds Day in Cahul: a day about community and joy

Today, the Central Park “Grigore Vieru” in Cahul became a true space of joy and generosity, where over 250 children and parents gathered to celebrate #ZiuaFaptelorBune2026 together. It was a day full of energy, smiles, and beautiful emotions, in which the community once again showed how important it is to be together and create moments that bring people closer.

The event was part of the national campaign #ZiuaFaptelorBune2026, initiated by Volunteer Center RVC, and in Cahul this special day turned into a celebration of solidarity, unity, and active community engagement. We were happy to bring this initiative locally in a warm and friendly format, dedicated to children, parents, and everyone who believes in the power of good deeds.

Throughout the day, participants went through an interactive route filled with engaging and educational activities. Children enjoyed creative workshops such as origami and bracelet making, as well as board games and an educational quiz that sparked their curiosity and teamwork spirit. The energizing piñata moment added even more excitement, while recreational and sports activities — from dynamic games and dancing to volleyball and other group activities — turned the day into a lively and joyful experience.

The atmosphere was enriched by the interactive “Blitz Questions” session, which challenged participants to respond quickly and creatively, as well as by the award ceremony for those who completed the entire route. For quieter moments, children had free creative time for drawing and modeling with clay, while the balloon modeling masterclass brought even more joy to the park. The day ended with time for socializing, play, and free interaction — just as a community that knows how to celebrate together deserves.
