Media Literacy

Training to combat disinformation
In a world dominated by fast-moving information flows, the ability to recognize and counter disinformation is essential. Our Media Literacy Program supports young people and communities in becoming critical consumers of information, identifying reliable sources, and combating propaganda and fake news. The program is based on the OWIS methodology and combines practical workshops, individual mentoring, and documentary film screenings, equipping participants with the necessary tools to understand and expose information manipulation.
Participant Selection
Young people, teachers, civic activists, and community leaders interested in media literacy.
Media Literacy Lab
Two days of intensive training where participants learn media analysis techniques, information verification, digital safety, and how to counter disinformation.
Documentary Film Caravan
We organize screenings of educational films on disinformation and manipulation, followed by interactive debates with media experts. The caravan reaches villages and towns in southern Moldova, facilitating community discussions on the impact of false information and the importance of critical thinking.
Creating and Promoting Responsible Content
Participants learn to create verified and educational content, which they can publish on CRDC platforms and social media.
Awareness Campaigns
Participants will carry out educational activities and media campaigns to inform the public about the risks of disinformation.
