Impact and testimonials
Denisa Gațanoga, community journalist
“Writing articles gave me the opportunity to share ideas, discuss issues, and find solutions. Through community journalism, we can inspire, educate, and positively influence the community, and participating in this project helped me grow personally and bring attention to my hometown. Even though it seemed difficult at first, I gained confidence and started writing about local problems. I really enjoyed attending the meeting with the local authorities, where I learned new things, discussed solutions, and understood the steps needed to solve local issues.”
Denisa Gațanoga, community journalist
It was an experience I had long been waiting to live, and A.O. C.R.D.C. gave me this opportunity. At first, it was difficult for me to write about an issue in my community because I rarely faced challenges that bothered me constantly, and even if I didn’t like certain things around me, I didn’t have the strength to speak up or get more involved in solving community problems. After completing this task, I began to see everything around me differently, from a new perspective, realizing that there are indeed community challenges. I had the chance to meet new people, with whom I might collaborate in the future and from whom I can receive advice and opinions. I really liked the atmosphere of the organization — everyone was very friendly and open to new adventures.
