YELI – Regional Advocacy Caravan for Young People

Description

The “YELI – Regional Advocacy Caravan for Young People” project represented an important stage in the development of the YELI programme, through which young people from the south of the Republic of Moldova were supported in transforming their civic engagement into a practical, structured process with local impact.

Through the regional caravan format, the project brought training, mentoring and dialogue opportunities closer to young people from Cahul, Cantemir, Leova, Taraclia and Ceadîr-Lunga. Participants learned how to identify real problems in their communities, formulate solutions, develop advocacy mini-plans and interact with local public authorities.

The initiative contributed to the development of a generation of young people who are more active, more confident and better prepared to participate in local decision-making processes. Throughout the project, young people’s ideas were transformed into concrete initiatives, demonstrating that their voices can produce visible changes in the community.
