On March 1st, we brought spring closer to people

As every year, we spent the first day of spring together with our community. The team of the Regional Community Development Center, alongside volunteers from the Cahul District Youth Center, went out to share mărțișoare and, above all, to share warmth and joy.

With red-and-white symbols of spring and sincere smiles, we met people in a hurry, people surprised, and those who perhaps needed this small gesture to begin the season with a little more light. Each mărțișor was offered with kind words and the wish to keep alive a tradition that unites us.

For us, March 1st is not just a date on the calendar. It is a moment to be closer to one another, to step out of routine, and to bring a touch of color and hope into our community. It is about involvement, volunteering, and the power of simple gestures.

We are happy that, together with young volunteers, we once again brought spring to the streets of Cahul and into people’s hearts.
