CRDC Participated in the Plenary Meeting of the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum

On 27 March 2026, the administrator of A.O. Centrul Regional de Dezvoltare Comunitară, Irina Bejan, participated in the Plenary Meeting of the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, held in a hybrid format.

The meeting provided Platform members with an opportunity to receive updates on the work of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum and to discuss priorities for the coming period.

During the meeting, the National Facilitator presented the latest updates received from the Civil Society Forum Secretariat in Brussels, providing members with an up-to-date overview of relevant regional processes and developments.

An important topic on the agenda was the development of the Advocacy Plan for 2026–2027. Discussions focused on strengthening the Platform’s priorities and defining common directions for action that would reflect as closely as possible the perspectives and interests of civil society organizations in the Republic of Moldova.

CRDC’s participation in such meetings is important for maintaining active dialogue with other member organizations, exchanging experience and connecting the perspectives of local and regional organizations to broader advocacy and civic participation processes.

Another agenda item was dedicated to organizations that had expressed their intention to join the Platform: Regina Pacis Foundation, the Union of Young Roma, the Red Cross Society of the Republic of Moldova and the Women’s Law Centre. Their representatives presented their organizations’ activities, experience and motivation to become part of the National Platform.

For CRDC, membership in the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum provides an opportunity to participate in a broader framework of cooperation and advocacy, where the experience accumulated in communities across southern Moldova can be connected to national and regional discussions and priorities.
