On Good Deeds Day 2025, CRDC turns inclusion into real community experiences
On Good Deeds Day 2025, the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC) gave inclusion a tangible form, transforming it into authentic experiences, meaningful connections, and shared moments of joy. The activity created a space where diversity was embraced and differences became bridges between people.
The event was implemented in partnership with the Cahul Territorial Psychopedagogical Assistance Service, Community Center Cahul, and the Community for Civic Progress Association, bringing together typically developing children and children with special needs, along with their parents, in a safe, open, and welcoming environment.
Throughout the day, participants freely expressed themselves through creative and sensory activities: children drew their families as they perceive them, explored the world through adapted games, danced with open hearts, and interacted naturally, without labels or barriers. The atmosphere was one of acceptance, empathy, and the simple joy of being together.
This day once again demonstrated that inclusion is not just a concept or a public policy, but a living practice that becomes real when communities create spaces where every child is seen, heard, and valued.
The activity was carried out within the project “A.R.I.P.I. – Assistance and Resources for Inclusion and Individual Progress”, implemented by CRDC as part of the “Active Citizens, Prosperous Communities” programme, run by the East Europe Foundation, with financial support from the Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau and Swiss Cooperation in Moldova.
We thank everyone who chose to be part of this positive energy and who contributed to building a more open, empathetic, and united community.
