East Europe Foundation Working Visit to CRDC: Dialogue, Impact, and Community Good Practices

East Europe Foundation Working Visit to CRDC: Dialogue, Impact, and Community Good Practices

Today, the team of the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC) was pleased to host a working visit from colleagues of the East Europe Foundation, in a setting dedicated to reflection, impact assessment, and open dialogue on community development.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to present how CRDC’s projects are implemented at the local level, as well as the results achieved through the initiatives “V.O.C.E. – Voices of the Community for Education” and “A.R.I.P.I. – Assistance and Resources for Inclusion and Individual Progress.” We shared concrete examples, success stories, and lessons learned, highlighting how these projects contribute to civic engagement, social inclusion, and improved access to education and resources for vulnerable groups.

A key moment of the visit was the presentation of the first Inclusive Education Resource Center (CREI) established in Cahul District, within a rural preschool institution — “Clopoțelul” Kindergarten. This center represents a functional model of good practice, demonstrating that inclusive education can be successfully implemented in rural communities when collaboration, vision, and institutional support are in place.

From our perspective, such visits are not merely moments of formal reporting, but genuine spaces for mutual learning and partnership strengthening. Open dialogue with donors and strategic partners enables us to critically reflect on our work, validate our strategic directions, and identify new development opportunities. We strongly believe that sustainable change starts within communities and is built through trust, continuity, and long-term investment in people.

We are grateful to everyone involved in these processes — the CRDC team, volunteers, local partners, and the colleagues who honored us with their visit — for their openness, professionalism, and continuous support.
