Annual Report 2024

For us at the Regional Center for Community Development (CRDC), 2024 was a year full of projects, challenges, and achievements that brought people closer together. Under the slogan “Together with People”, we carried out activities through programs dedicated to young people, community journalism, inclusion, media literacy, and volunteering.

Over 2,000 people directly involved

In 2024, we reached more than 2,000 people – young women and men, teachers, women, community leaders, as well as citizens actively engaged in the life of their localities. Through our online campaigns, we reached an audience of over 91,300 people.

8 initiatives for the community

We managed a budget of approximately 539,000 MDL, fully directed towards 8 initiatives focusing on youth leadership, community journalism, countering disinformation, inclusion of children with special educational needs, promotion of European values, and strengthening civil society.

Volunteering with heart

For us, volunteering is the heart of the organization. In 2024, our team of 6 active female volunteers contributed constantly to CRDC’s activities and developed their own micro-initiatives in communities. Through these actions, we demonstrated that the energy and creativity of volunteers bring visible and lasting change.

Institutional recognition

Another important milestone of 2024 was obtaining the public utility status, an official recognition of our contribution to community development. At the same time, we became, for the first time, eligible for the percentage designation mechanism (2%), opening the opportunity for citizens to directly support our work starting in 2025.

Looking ahead

Our annual report is not just a review of projects, but proof that together we can build more united and resilient communities. In 2025, we aim to remain close to people, support local initiatives, and be a reliable partner for those who believe in the power of collaboration.
