Open Call for the Selection of a Trainer in Community Mobilisation

A.O. Centrul Regional de Dezvoltare Comunitară is launching an open call for the selection of a trainer to deliver a capacity-building programme on community mobilisation, which will take place in October 2026 in Cahul municipality.

The activity is organised within the project “Local Citizens’ Juries for Community Mobilization and Public Participation of Women and Youth” and will bring together 15 participants from three communities in southern Moldova.

The training programme will have a practical focus and will cover topics such as community organising and mobilisation, public participation and the role of citizens in community life, identifying and prioritising local issues, advocacy and dialogue with local public authorities, as well as community communication.

The training will prepare participants for their subsequent involvement in establishing and participating in Local Citizens’ Juries, conducting community consultations, identifying priority issues, and promoting solutions through dialogue and local advocacy.

The programme will be delivered in person in Cahul municipality over two days, with a total duration of 12 training hours.

We are looking for a specialist with relevant experience in community mobilisation, civic participation, local development, advocacy and/or facilitation of community processes.

Experience in designing and delivering adult training programmes and using interactive facilitation methods is required. Experience working with local communities, women and young people, as well as promoting the civic leadership of women and youth, will be considered an advantage.

The application package must include:

• an updated CV;

• a technical proposal of no more than 2 pages, including the proposed methodological approach, an indicative structure of the training programme, and the proposed interactive methods;

• a financial offer for a total workload of 5 working days, indicating the daily rate and the total value of the services.

The deadline for submitting applications is 7 October 2026, 23:59.
