“Education Through the Eyes of the Community” Exhibition – A Lesson in Inclusion and Diversity
At the “Clopoțelul” Kindergarten in Crihana Veche, a deeply emotional and inspiring event took place — the exhibition “Education Through the Eyes of the Community”, dedicated to promoting inclusion and diversity in education. The event brought together children, parents, and teachers in a shared space for dialogue, reflection, and community connection through art.
The exhibition showcased drawings, paintings, and collages created by children and community members, each artwork conveying powerful messages about acceptance, mutual support, and the importance of an accessible and inclusive educational environment. Each piece was accompanied by a personal message from its author, expressing their understanding of what an inclusive community means.
A special section of the exhibition featured testimonials from parents and teachers, who shared their perspectives on the benefits of inclusive education and emphasized the importance of ensuring that every child is accepted and supported throughout their learning journey.
The event highlighted the idea that inclusive education is a collective responsibility and that meaningful change is achieved through collaboration between families, educators, and the wider community.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the “A.R.I.P.I. – Assistance and Resources for Individual Progress and Inclusion” project, implemented by the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC), as part of the “Active Citizens, Prosperous Communities” program implemented by the East Europe Foundation – Moldova, with financial support from the Embassy of Sweden in Chișinău and Swiss Cooperation in Moldova.
