YELI – Regional Advocacy Caravan for Youth

Description

The project “YELI – Regional Advocacy Caravan for Youth” represents a new stage in the development of the YELI program, aiming to transform youth civic engagement in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova into a structured and impactful process.

In a context where young people are interested in participating in community life but often lack the tools to influence local decision-making, this project bridges that gap. Through an innovative regional caravan format, we bring training, mentorship, and engagement opportunities directly into young people’s communities.

The initiative contributes to building a generation of active young people who can identify real problems, propose solutions, and effectively engage with local public authorities.

Objectives
To develop advocacy, civic leadership, and community organizing skills for at least 100 young people (aged 16–35)
To increase youth participation in local decision-making processes
To transform identified issues into concrete advocacy initiatives
To strengthen dialogue between youth and local public authorities
To support the implementation of youth-led initiatives at the community level
