Launch of “YELI – Youth Empowerment and Leadership Initiative” – Together for a Generation of Young Leaders!

With great enthusiasm, our team launched the “YELI – Youth Empowerment and Leadership Initiative”, an ambitious project aimed at transforming young people from the districts of Cantemir, Leova, Ceadîr-Lunga, Căușeni, and Taraclia into true leaders of their communities.

The goal of this project is to provide young leaders with the necessary tools to become powerful voices and contribute to sustainable change through leadership, civic engagement, and community activism.

YELI Leadership Lab

Over the course of 4 days, 25 ambitious young participants will take part in the YELI Leadership Lab—an intensive program that will equip them with the skills and knowledge to:

• Understand what it truly means to be a leader;
• Inspire positive changes in their communities;
• Act in the interest of the common good.

The launch event was marked by the presence of distinguished guests who brought messages of encouragement and inspiration:

• Alexandr Petrov, Director of the National Youth Agency, emphasized the vital role of youth in community development;
• Anastasia Eșanu, Advisor for EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment, shared success stories and the project’s national impact;
• Dan Arnaut, representing CNTM, highlighted the importance of collaboration within the youth organization network;
• Marta Vasluian, from MilleniuM Training and Development Institute;
• Sergiu Gurău, from A.O. Eco-Răzeni, provided concrete examples of opportunities and inspiration for the participants.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the guests for their support, motivational messages, and presence. We hope that the participants will make the most of this opportunity and become agents of positive change in their communities.
