CRDC at the Final Stage of the Project “Strong Civil Society for Local Development”

CRDC at the Final Stage of the Project “Strong Civil Society for Local Development”

Last week, the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC) was represented by our colleague Arina Arabadji at the closing event of the project “Strong Civil Society for Local Development”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented within the regional programme “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries.”

Within this project, CRDC implemented the initiative “Promoting the Youth Sector and Non-Formal Education in the Cahul Region,” aimed at increasing the visibility and accessibility of youth services in the region, as well as strengthening cooperation among local actors working with young people.

The initiative focused on promoting non-formal education as a key tool for youth personal and civic development and on reinforcing the role of youth centers as safe, open, and relevant spaces for the community. Through the activities carried out, CRDC contributed to connecting existing services, facilitating the exchange of good practices, and fostering sustainable cooperation between local organizations and public institutions.

We extend our sincere thanks to our partners Centrul Contact and GIZ Moldova for their continuous support throughout the implementation of the project, as well as to the local partners who played an important role in the success of the initiative:

  • Centrul YK AGAPE

  • AO Perspectiva

  • Cahul District Youth Center

  • Cahul Municipal Youth Center

Their contribution was essential in supporting the local community and advancing youth services in the Cahul region.

CRDC’s participation in this closing event reaffirms the organization’s commitment to strengthening the youth sector, consolidating civil society at the local level, and contributing to regional initiatives that promote cooperation, inclusion, and civic participation.
