Managing Bullying Situations: Follow-Up Activity Organized by a CRDC Volunteer in Cahul

On October 4, a follow-up activity entitled “Bullying. Managing Difficult Situations” took place at the I.P. Cahul College of Medicine, facilitated by Daria Coșer, a volunteer of the Regional Community Development Center (CRDC).

The activity was organized as a result of Daria’s participation in the Development Camp “The Empathetic Generation”, held over the summer and organized by the MilleniuM Training and Development Institute. Through this initiative, the CRDC volunteer shared the knowledge and skills she had acquired, supporting young participants in identifying and constructively addressing challenging situations related to bullying.

During the session, participants examined real-life examples of difficult situations, discussed the impact of bullying on interpersonal relationships, and explored solutions based on nonviolent communication, empathy, and individual responsibility. The activity provided a safe space for dialogue and reflection, contributing to the development of young people’s socio-emotional skills.

This initiative is part of the follow-up activities implemented by participants of the Development Camp “The Empathetic Generation”, within the project “Combating Bullying through Nonviolent Communication”, implemented by the MilleniuM Training and Development Institute. The project is carried out under the Municipal Grant Programme for Youth Organizations of Chișinău Municipality, launched and financially supported by the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport of Chișinău Municipality and the Chișinău Municipal Youth Center, under the aegis of the Chișinău City Hall.

We congratulate Daria Coșer for her dedication, initiative, and civic engagement. Such actions highlight the important role of volunteering and non-formal education in preventing bullying and promoting a culture of empathy and mutual respect within local communities.
