CRDC with the community on World Refugee Day in Cahul, 2025

Our organization continues to be actively involved in initiatives that bring people together and promote social cohesion. On June 22, 2025, we took part in the event dedicated to World Refugee Day, held in the municipality of Cahul – a moment of collective reflection on solidarity and support for those who have left their homes in search of safety.

The event was organized within the framework of the Council of Europe's project on strengthening the protection of the human rights of refugees and migrants in the Republic of Moldova, in cooperation with the General Inspectorate for Migration and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. The main goal of the activity was to create a shared space for meetings, dialogue, and recreational activities between refugees, local community members, authorities, and civil society organizations.

Throughout the day, participants took part in cultural and educational activities, shared experiences, and conveyed messages of support and inclusion. The warm and open atmosphere once again demonstrated that together we can build more welcoming communities based on mutual respect and trust.
