Creative Masterclass for Women: Art, Inspiration, and Time for Oneself
Over the past weekend, the team of the Regional Community Development Center organized a creative masterclass focused on painting plaster figurines — a relaxing and inspiring activity dedicated to women from the community. The workshop provided a safe and welcoming space where art became a means of expression, connection, and positive energy.
Throughout the activity, participants worked with shapes, colors, and textures, transforming plaster figurines into unique objects imbued with personal meaning. Beyond the artistic process, the masterclass encouraged open dialogue, mutual inspiration, and authentic moments of reconnection with oneself and with other women.
Such initiatives highlight the importance of creating contexts in which women can express their emotions through art and rediscover the value of time dedicated to their own well-being, as well as to relationships within the community. The relaxed atmosphere and openness of the participants turned the workshop into a positive and memorable experience.
We thank all participants for their energy, creativity, and willingness to try something new, as well as our partners from A.O. Mirkiras for their collaboration.
The activity was carried out within the project “Resilience of Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries,” part of a regional project implemented by People in Need Moldova, funded by the European Union in the Republic of Moldova and co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, under the “Transition” Cooperation Programme.
Through such initiatives, we continue to promote community-based activities that contribute to the emotional well-being, solidarity, and resilience of women in the communities where we operate.
