Investing in Youth and the Future of the Community: the Hyperion Team from Leova Strengthens Communication and Team Cohesion Skills
Investing in young people means investing directly in the future of our communities. Guided by this belief, we joined the Hyperion team from Leova for an interactive session focused on public communication and team cohesion, facilitated by Nonna Mihalcean.
The activity provided a safe and dynamic space where participants were able to develop essential skills for civic engagement and community leadership. Through open discussions and practical exercises, young people explored communication barriers, their impact on teamwork, and the importance of building authentic connections within a team.
Special emphasis was placed on trust, empathy, and active listening—key elements for building strong and effective teams. Interactive exercises and trust-building games helped strengthen collaboration, encouraging active participation, open expression of ideas, and shared responsibility within the group.
For the Hyperion team, this session represented not only a learning opportunity but also an important step in their development as engaged young people, capable of clear communication, effective collaboration, and meaningful contribution to their local community.
We are glad to support young people from the Southern Development Region in their personal and civic development journey and invite you to stay connected with us to discover new opportunities, initiatives, and stories of real community impact.
This activity was implemented with the support of the project “EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment”, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), with the support of GIZ Moldova, EU Neighbourhood & Enlargement, and the European Union in the Republic of Moldova.
