The project “Together for Safety: Social Cohesion and Prevention of Gender-Based Violence in the Cahul Region” contributes to the prevention of gender-based violence and the strengthening of social cohesion between the refugee community and the host community in Cahul municipality and the targeted localities.
The initiative creates safe and accessible spaces for information, dialogue and community engagement for women, girls, youth, boys, refugees and migrants, local specialists, institutions and partner organizations. The project addresses topics such as healthy relationships, violence prevention, access to support, digital violence, gender stereotypes and the role of the community in creating a safer environment for women and girls.
