Strengthening organizational capacity: a step toward strategic development

With the support of People in Need Moldova through the project "Civil Society Resilience in the Eastern Partnership Countries," our team has made significant progress in strengthening organizational capacity. During an evaluation and development session, we had the opportunity to thoroughly analyze our organization's performance and needs.

OCAT Assessment: A Comprehensive Diagnostic

Using the OCAT (Organizational Capacity Assessment Tool), we examined in detail the key aspects of our organization's functioning:

• internal management,
• organizational structure,
• decision-making processes,
• relationships with beneficiaries and partners,
• financial sustainability.

This exercise allowed us to identify strengths and highlight the areas where further investment is needed to enhance our efficiency and impact in the community.

Following this analysis, we developed an updated organizational strategy that reflects our priority intervention directions and opens new perspectives for action. The strategy focuses on:

• promoting equal opportunities,
• supporting youth and women in rural areas,
• developing organizational sustainability,
• implementing innovative projects that address the real needs of our communities.

This strategy will guide the organization's work in the coming years, ensuring a more informed and beneficiary-centered intervention.

We are confident that this stage represents a starting point for new impactful projects and initiatives that will contribute to the sustainable development of communities in the Southern Region of the Republic of Moldova.
