“The Voices of Young Community Journalists of A.O. C.R.D.C.: Zbîrciog Biatris”
Zbîrciog Biatris is an active young woman involved in multiple initiatives at both local and international levels. Within the “V.O.C.E.” project implemented by A.O. C.R.D.C., Biatris identified an important issue affecting young people in Cahul — the lack of adequate information about local development opportunities.
Aware of the impact of this situation, Biatris initiated the online campaign #TineripentruTineri, with the main goal of increasing awareness among young people in Cahul about youth-oriented entities and programs. Through a series of informative posts, she presented various youth organizations and services, ensuring that young people have access to the information they need in order to benefit from the resources available in their community.
Through this initiative, Biatris demonstrated a strong commitment to community well-being and to the future of young people in Cahul, contributing to better information flow and to the strengthening of local resources dedicated to youth development.

Biatris’s experience within the project
“My experience within the ‘V.O.C.E.’ project was an incredible opportunity to learn and to contribute to creating authentic journalism that is closely connected to the needs and realities of the community. I had the chance to write articles, which gave me a deeper perspective on the impact journalism can have on local communities. I believe community journalism is essential because it brings forward the voices that are often unheard by traditional media. Through the articles I wrote, I better understood how important it is to promote and support positive change at the local level. In an era when information can be superficial or distorted, community journalism becomes a vital tool for educating the public and strengthening social cohesion.”
