CRDC at the Collaboration Lab: Partnerships for Stronger Communities

CRDC at the Collaboration Lab: Partnerships for Stronger Communities

Between May 6–8, 2025, the Regional Center for Community Development (CRDC) participated in the Collaboration Lab, a workshop dedicated to civil society organizations in the Republic of Moldova, held in Chișinău. The event brought together ten organizations from across the country and was organized by People in Need Moldova as part of the regional project “Civil Society Resilience in the Eastern Partnership Countries”, funded by the European Union.

Over the course of three days, participants collaborated to identify shared areas of interest and worked in teams to design joint initiatives. The sessions followed an interactive format, based on design thinking methods, experience sharing, and collective reflection.

Irina Bejan, CRDC Administrator, stated:

“Our collaboration with People in Need (PIN) has already reached its third year, and currently one of the projects we are implementing started in December. We are developing the organization's website, visibility materials, and brand book. Participation in this program has given us the opportunity to strengthen our visual identity and, more importantly, to build long-term partnerships.”

Following the event, CRDC has started setting up a strategic partnership with A.O. “Mirkiras” from Ceadîr-Lunga — an organization active in the social and educational fields. Over the next six months, we will closely collaborate to develop a joint initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable groups in the southern regions of the Republic of Moldova. This partnership promises concrete results and valuable exchange between our two organizations.

We sincerely thank the People in Need team for the opportunity and for their continued support of organizations across the country!
