Dialogue on services for refugees and migrants

Dialogue on services for refugees and migrants

The Regional Center for Community Development organized a focus group dedicated to analyzing the current services available for refugees and migrants, with the aim of better understanding which services are available, how accessible they are and what types of additional support are still needed at local level.

The activity provided participants with an open space to discuss their experiences in accessing services, the real needs within the community and the aspects that matter most when support is provided to refugees and migrants. The discussions addressed both existing services and the gaps or difficulties encountered in the process of information, guidance and access to the necessary support.

Participants spoke about the importance of clear communication with specialists, respect, empathy and an individualized approach when working with people in vulnerable situations. They also discussed needs related to service accessibility, accurate information and support adapted to each person’s specific situation.

By organizing this focus group, we aimed to collect opinions and recommendations directly from the people concerned, so that future activities and interventions can better respond to the realities of the community. We believe that the voice of refugees and migrants is essential for developing services that are clearer, more accessible and closer to people’s needs.

We thank all participants for their openness, involvement and contributions during the discussion.
