CRDC marked Europe Day in Cahul together with people and the community
On 9 May, the Regional Center for Community Development marked Europe Day for the fourth consecutive year together with people and the community, around the values that bring us closer and keep us united: peace, solidarity and cohesion.
This year, CRDC chose to celebrate Europe Day at home, in Cahul, together with Community Center Cahul, Cahul District Youth Center and Cahul Municipal Youth Center. The event was an opportunity to celebrate not only a symbolic day, but also the way European values come to life when people gather, listen to one another and build together.
We were pleased by the presence of representatives of local and district public authorities, including the Mayor of Cahul municipality, Nicolae Dandiș, as well as the President of Cahul District, Pavel Groza. We appreciate the openness and closeness between institutions, organizations and the community during such moments, which create spaces for dialogue, connection and cooperation.
For CRDC, Europe Day is about more than a public event. It is about the feeling of togetherness, mutual support and the strength of communities that choose to remain united. We are always glad to meet again in such spaces, which bring people closer to one another and strengthen the community spirit.
Through the activities carried out within the project, we continue to promote participation, dialogue and cohesion at local level, contributing to the consolidation of a more open, more solidary and more connected community.
This project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union, contracted by ICMPD through the Migration Partnership Facility. The content is the sole responsibility of the Regional Center for Community Development and does not necessarily reflect the position of the European Union.
