PROSPECT – Promoting Resilience and Opportunities for Psychological, Economic, and Cultural Support for All

Description

The “PROSPECT” initiative brought together Ukrainian refugees and the local community in Cahul in a process of healing, learning, and collaboration. Through essential support for children during the cold season, psychosocial sessions, awareness workshops, and intercultural activities, the project provided a safe and inclusive environment where women, children, and vulnerable families were supported in becoming more resilient and connected to one another.

Objectives
Providing essential support for vulnerable children during the cold season (clothing and footwear).
Promoting mental health and resilience through interactive psychosocial sessions for children and adolescents.
Raising awareness of children's rights and abuse prevention.
Encouraging intercultural dialogue and social cohesion through creative workshops and community events.
Empowering women (both refugees and locals) through economic trainings and creative workshops.
Methodology
The “PROSPECT” project was designed and implemented through an integrated approach focused on the real needs of beneficiaries and building authentic bridges between refugees and the local community in Cahul. The methodology combined concrete interventions, non-formal education, and community activities to support the personal and social development of children, women, and vulnerable families.
